This Privacy Policy explains how the Cric Sim mobile game ("Cric Sim," the "App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
Cric Sim is a fictional cricket-management simulation game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the BCCI, the IPL, the ICC, any cricket franchise, or any professional cricketer. All team names, player names, logos, and colors in the App are fictional.

The App is provided by Cric Sim Group ("the Developer"). The Developer is the data controller responsible for your information.
We collect only what we need to run the game and keep your progress safe.
Where applicable, we process your data on the basis of: performance of a contract (running the game you asked to play), legitimate interests (improving and securing the App), and consent (e.g. device notification permission, which you can withdraw at any time in your device settings).
- Cloud hosting provider — stores your account and game data.
- PostHog — product analytics.
- Sentry — crash/error diagnostics.
- Apple / Google — identity verification when you sign in with their services.
These providers process data only on our behalf and under their own privacy and security commitments. We do not sell your data to anyone.
We keep your account and game data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account (see Section 8), your account and associated game data are permanently deleted. Anonymized analytics and aggregated diagnostics that cannot identify you may be retained.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact cricketfranchisesim@gmail.com. Note that much of your account can be managed directly in the App.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App: open the account menu and choose Delete Account. This is irreversible and removes your careers, statistics, match history, and account record.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
The App is available globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our hosting and service providers operate. We take steps to ensure your data is protected wherever it is processed.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, hashed authentication tokens, parameterized database access, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
